Taj Burrow wins the Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast at Australia`s famous Snapper Rocks. He outsurfed the world`s best surfers and put on a hell of a show in every heat. Having changed his equipment must have helped.
Taj Burrow is now in first place for the 2012 World Title Ranking.
Today was a lay day at the Quiksilver and Roxy Pro Gold Coast.

Miguel Pupo, last year´s winner of the Lowers Pro, won the Hang Loose Pro at Fernando de Noronha in great waves. The competition was tough and the waves were going off. The final was a full Brazilian final, but Miguel Pupo came through to take the first prime evento of 2012.

Julian Wilson, 2011 rookie of the year, won the Breaka Burleigh Pro at Burleigh Heads, Queensland in Australia, beating Josh Kerr and Mick Fanning in the final.
The Breaka Burleigh Pro is a four star event in the Men´s World Tour.
